Circle Geometry

Circles are very important shapes, particularly because of the wheel, a key discovery on the road to our present-day technological society. Properties of circles are used in almost every product that moves. They all have gear wheels, or levers with pivot points or pendulums to control movement. Factories usually have several machines, like lathes that are specifically designed to cut materials into circular or cylindrical shapes.
